“Mangfade Sangai” released, Critic suggests government to preserve Sangaithel

Imphal: The state government should take necessary steps to preserve Sangaithel which is also one of the origin of Sangai deer despite preserving Keibul Lamjao, suggests Art Critic, Rajmani Ayekpam.

The art critic was speaking during release of “Mangfade Sangai” an audio music, in connection with Manipur Sangai Festival, 2022.

Rajmani said Sangaithel is also one of the origin of Sangai deer and government should take necessary steps to promote the village as one of the Sangai deer habitat place.

Folk artiste should be proud of their talent as Manipur is known to international level due their talent not by the bureaucrat officers. Sometimes the indigenous folk songs need to be recorded with modern technologies so as to increase target for audience in masses.

Mangfade Sangai is sung by Dipu Khuraton Khunung and composed by director PAL, Manipur, N. Tiken Singh with Tonsing Khuraijam as assistant music composer. The song was written, produced and directed by M. Indrajit.

The song is sung in traditional folk music with modern taste.
