40 Manipur Kung-Fu players to combat in the 7th National Kung-Fu Championship, 2022


Imphal: Manipur Kung-Fu team on Sunday departed for Gujarat to participate in the 7th National Kung-Fu Championship, 2022.

A total of 40 Kung-Fu players including 25 women are representing the state.

The championship will be held at Community hall of Shree Dakhini Gijarat Shtria , Rajput, Surat, Gujarat in November 25-27. It is jointly organised by Kung-Fu committee, Gujarat and Shaolin Traditional Kung-Fu Federation of India under the aegis of All India Kung-Fu Federation.

In the championship players from 27 states across the country including Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Kerala, Hariyana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Punjab, Gujarat, Pondicherry, Goa will compete at various events.

They will be competing at Sanda, Taolu, Taichi, Sujiao, Wing-chun, Chi-gong, Tongjigong, Chi-cong, Tuishu, other traditional Kung-Fu and Modern Kung-Fu sports events.
