Hengbung Hybrid Solar project to be completed soon

Imphal: Hybrid Solar Project of Hengbung will be handed over to public soon and under the leadership of chief minister N. Biren Singh, Saitu Assembly Constituency will be one of developed constituency in the state, said MLA Haokholet Kipgen who is also chief of Hengbung village, Senapati district.

Haokholet was speaking at the 75th Platinum Jubilee celebration of Hengbung Baptist Church, Senapati district held at its church complex on Wednesday.

It is a big achievement for Hengbung villages that Hengbung Baptish Church has completed 75 years, he said.

With the ongoing Sangai Festival, chief minister and other ministers are not able to attend the function. He said under the leadership of the chief minister, he will try to make Saitu Assembly Constituency one of the most developed constituency in the state. The Hybrid Solar project will be inaugurated by chief minister after its completion.

He appealed the people of the constituency to protect the natural resource of the area.

As a part of the celebration a monolith donated by the family members of the MLA was inaugurated.

Church Pastor HBC, Reverent Letkhothong Haokip; former general secretary of Manipur Baptist Church, Reverent, V.Sitlhou and others participated as dignitaries.
