Rakesh’s “Erolnungdagi” bags Jury Special Mention Award in NEFVTA short film festival

Imphal: Rakesh Moirangthem’s film “Erolnungdagi” (From the Depth) has bagged Jury Special Mention Award in the first NEFVTA Short Film Festival held on Sunday at Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio, Guwahati.

The short film had won various awards at the national and international festival.

The 10-minute film, directed and edited by Manipur’s Rakesh Moirangthem and produced by Dark Room tries to depict the challenges faced by a small land like Manipur, which has its own culture and language, in the changing world.

Popularly known actor Edhou, Rameschandra takes the lead role in the film.

The cinematographer of the film is SK Sharungbam. Its music was directed by Tenao HD, story scripted by Somendro Moirangthem and screenplayed by Jenish Salam. Its production oontroller is GS Nanao and sound designer and production manager is Shanti Raj.
