Red Ribbon Club opened at NG College

Imphal: A Red Ribbon Club was opened at NG College, Imphal, on Wednesday as the 47th Red Ribbon Club opened in Manipur under Manipur State AIDS Control Society.

The Club was opened by Dr L. Robin, coordinator, IQAC, NG College Imphal.

Adibo Newmai, president, NG College Teachers’ Association, Dr Kh. Ronendrajit, programme officer, NSS and Phanjoubam Lanngamba, Asst. director, (Documentation & Publicity) and in-charge Youth, MACS were present at the opening of the Club.

Lanngamba took a session on HIV awareness.

Red Ribbon Clubs are opened at college and universities in the state by Manipur State AIDS Control Society for generating awareness about drugs and HIV among youth. The clubs closely work with NSS units of the colleges and universities.
