Imphal: Manipur governor La. Ganesan and chief minister N. Biren Singh have extended greetings on the occasion of Christmas.

May Christmas bring hope and happiness to our state. We remember the noble teachings of Jesus Christ and recall his efforts towards creating a compassionate and equal society. I wish the Christmas to be celebrated by all in its true form and spirit.”
“While celebrating this festival, let us also imbibe and take the message of Christmas by involving oneself in the work of spreading peace and harmony in the state and shun involvement in any manner of evil activity,” Biren said.
“All religions teach us to love one another and shun evil. We must remember that our faith try to bring at the best of humanity in us. As such, let us join the world in celebrating Christmas with the hope of strengthening the spirit of humanity and brotherhood among all communities living together in our state.”
