4kg No 4 seized, 2 arrested

Imphal: Manipur Police on Wednesday recovered Herion No. 4 powder containing in 100 soap cases which were concealed in a vehicle at Leimakhong in Kangpokpi district and nabbed two persons.

The powder drug was recovered from an Eco-Sports car bearing number TR01BD0259 when a combined team of Kangpokpi, Sapormeina and Leimakhong police stations conducted random frisking and checking.

The two persons carrying in the vehicle were Thangminlen Kipgen, 32, son of Satlun Kipgen of Pangjang Village, Saikul, Kangpokpip district and Ngamboi Haokip, 31, son of Jangmang Haokip of Kaprang Village, Churachandpur district.

They were arrested and seized the drug and vehicle along with two mobile phones.

A regular case has been registered at Sapormeina police station.
