Three fined over possession of invalid ILP

Imphal: A team of Lamphel Police station picked up three non-Manipuri from Langol Ningthounai for carrying invalid ILP (Inner Line Permit).

The three persons were Ajim Uddin Lasker, 29, son of Najim Uddin Lasker of Neitan Ramnagar part-V, Cachar, Assam; Rohim Uddin Lasker, 20, son of Bau Uddin Lasker of Neitan Ramnagar part IV, Cachar, Assam; and Abdul Mannan Barbhuiya, 21, son of Rofigu Uddin Barbhuiya of Neitan Ramnagar part V, Cachar, Assam.

Accordingly, they are produced before executive magistrate, Imphal West for further necessary legal action. The executive magistrate imposed a sum of Rs 18,000 as a fine and directed them to obtain ILP from the concerned authority at the earliest, a police report said.
