Imphal: Selected 84 candidates of four different posts at Rural Development and Panchayati Raj department (RD and PR) appreciated RD and PR minister Y. Khemchand for recruiting without corruption.
State government issues a recruitment notification on December 15 last year to appoint 49 office assistants, 7 Stenographers, 7 drivers, and 21 peons for the department on contractual basis.
The result of the recruitment for all the four different post categories were declared on December 25, the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, celebrated as ‘Good Governance Day” across the country.
To appreciate the corruption free recruitment, 84 selected candidates presented flower bouquet and stall to the RD and PR minister at his residence at Singjamei Yumnam Leikai, Imphal West on Monday.
The result of the recruitment was declared on the day of ‘Good Governance Day’ to contribute on the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee under the guidance of chief minister N. Biren Singh, Khemchand said.
To encourage the talents of the educated youths the recruitment was conducted with corruption free, he added.
He appealed the upcoming youths to prepare for competition among themselves while applying a job recruitment as the government has started a beginning for a corruption free job recruitment.
One of the selected female candidate expressed gratitude towards the government for selecting the candidates based on their talent without corruption. She said, “I did not expect that the result of the recruitment will come out like this. I had been applying many government job recruitments and I did not give bribe for the respective recruitments.”She expressed excitement on selecting her for the job recruitment without corruption.
