“Subedar” nominated for International film fest

Imphal: Manipuri documentary film based on the stories of Gurkhas in the history of Manipur, “Subedar” has been nominated for Nepal International Film festival, 2023 along with another Indian film.

In the film festival over 500 films from 55 different countries have submitted. Among the total films, 14 films were selected for International Documentary Film section in which two films were from India including “Subedar”.

The film is jointly directed by Th. Rolivin; G. Devadarshan and A. Debabarta.

The Nepal International Film Festival, 2023 will be conducting during March 16-20 at Kathmandu, Nepal.

“Subedar” will also be in the competition of Mount Everest Award of the same festival.
