3rd MABAOICON launched

Imphal: The 3rd Annual Conference of Manipur Branch of the Association of the Otolaryngologists of India (MABAOICON), 2023 was inaugurated at Jubilee Hall, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Lamphel, Imphal West on Saturday.

The two days programme was organised by department of Otorhinolaryngology, RIMS Imphal in collaboration with Manipur Branch of the Association of the Otolaryngologists of India.

The conference was inaugurated by RIMS, director professor Dr Priyosakhi.

Organising such conference is much needed. Such type of conference not only boost the academic knowledges but also have an opportunity on exchanging ideas among the doctors, the director said.

Professor Dr Th. Sudhiranjan as president of the function said, in the state number of ENT doctors are less in number. However, the doctors could fulfill the needs of public if there is cooperation among the ENT doctors.

Managing director and senior consultant of K.K.R ENT Hospital and Research Institute, Kilpauk, Dr Ravi Ramalingam; and ENT Specialist, Visakhapatanam, Dr SKE Apparao attended the function as guest faculties.
