Brown Sugar trafficker arrested

Imphal: A team of Tengnoupal Police station on Wednesday arrested a drug dealer with suspected Brown Sugar packed in 55 soap cases of different colours.

The Tengnoupal police detected the Brown Sugar 2.347 Kg (including the weight of the soap cases) from a Maruti Alto Car bearing registration No. MN01AS 9469.

The driver was arrested and identified as Thangkholun Haokip, 23, son of Lhunkhosei Haokip of New Shijang village, PO and PS-Moreh, Tengnoupal district, Manipur.
