One arrested with huge consignment of WY tablets from Indo-Myanmar border

Imphal: A combined team of 5th Assam Rifles and Moreh Police arrested a drug dealer from Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh, Tengnoupal district in Manipur on Wednesday.

The drug dealer was identified as one Lenzo Lenchinjang Zou alias Philips, 29, son of Longlenhao Zou of Moreh ward no. 2, Tengnoupal district.

The combined team seized 82 packets containing suspected WY tablets in different packet size, weighing a total of 56.255 Kg including the packaging materials.

Two mobile phones and one Aadhaar card were also seized.

The arrested person and the recovered items were handed over to Moreh Police station for further investigation, a police report said.
