One nabbed with Brown Sugar

Imphal: A combined team of Thoubal Police commando and a column of 16 AR arrested one drug peddler with Brown Sugar on Saturday.

The arrested person was identified as Phundreimayum Sagir Ahamed alias Achouba, 46, son of late Md. Abdul Halim of Lilong Awang Leikai.

He was nabbed along with  55 soap cases suspected to be Brown Sugar, weighing a total of 838 gm including the weight of the plastic soap cases.

The drug was found concealed in one Maruti Alto LXI car bearing registration number MN04P-3177.

The arrested person along with seized items have been handed over to Lilong Police station for taking further necessary legal action.
