Need people’e to promote Thang-Ta: Ibomcha

Imphal: Sintakpurel (chief instructor) of Kanglei Enat Thang-Ta Shindam Sanglen, Laitanthem Ibomcha said,  to promote Manipuri Thang-Ta to international level, people need to support the art form.

Ibomcha was speaking during the ‘Festival of Thang-Ta with special focus on Thangbi Sakok Sading’ held at KCDO hall located at Imphal East district on Tuesday.

Ibomcha said Thangbi Sakok Sading is a part of the Manipuri Thang-Ta which was practiced during the time of hunting in olden days. He said a student have to learn the art form while learning the Manipuri Thang-Ta.

He said each students should follow strict discipline of Manipuri Thang-Ta while learning its rules and regulation.
