Youth arrested with 5kg Brown Sugar

Imphal: A 19 years old boy was arrested with 5 kg (approximately) of Brown Sugar from Singjamei parking, Imphal on Monday.

The boy was identified as Phundreimayum Wakil Ahmed, 19, son of Ph. Sharif Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Turel Ahanbi near Darul-Ullom.

The drug smuggler was coming in a passenger Magic Vehicle from Lilong side.

From his possession the drug packed in five plastic packets was recovered.

Further investigation is going on to nab the involved culprits, police said.
