Drug trader arrested with Heroin

Imphal: A team of Irilbung police station of Manipur has arrested one drug seller near electric tower of Kiyamgei Muslim Makha Leikai, Keirao Bitra, Imphal East on Saturday.

The arrested person has been identified as one Md Amir Khan, 27, son of Md Abdul Samad of Kiyamgei Muslim Makha Leikai, Keirao Bitra, Imphal East.

He was arrested while selling drugs to some drug users near electric tower of his residence at around 11 pm of Saturday.

He was detained and during verification in presence of duty magistrate he disclosed his identity as Amir. On body search 35 plastic vials containing suspected Heroin powder weighing around 7 gm was seized from his possession, a police report said.

He was arrested on the spot and seized the suspected Heroin powder.

A case has been registered at Irilbung police station under ND and PS Act for further investigation.
