Outreach programme under  “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”

Imphal,p: Water Resource department on Monday organised an outreach programme as a part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” for promoting Dam tourism at the Loktak Development Authority office, Moirang in Bishnupur district.

Minister Awangbow Newmai said Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12, 2021 inugurated for 75 years of India’s Independence and will continue till August 15, 2023.

He said, “As we attend the 75th years of India’s Independence Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants our country to develop not only in few aspects but to develop as a whole.” He said in future, tourism will be a prominent point while constructing dam.
