One drug dealer nabbed

Imphal: A team of Imphal West district police commandos arrested one drug dealer from Keishamthong Thangjam Leirak near Oil Pump, Imphal on Friday.

The drug dealer was identified as Mayengbam Sashikanta Meitei, 27, son of late M. Bishworjit Singh of Keishamthong Thangjam Leirak.

From his possession in a red carry bag, one soap case containing suspected Herione No. 4 powder weighing 13 gm was recovered along with one mobile handset, a police report said.

During preliminary verification he disclosed that the recovered soap case was handed over by (name witheld) to sell to interested persons, the report said.
